Chris got his start in roofing selling roof coatings for the Garland Company, a long-standing stalwart manufacturer of roof coatings and restoration products. When Chris started his contracting business in 2013, as he spoke with owners, he noticed a ton of commercial flat roofing and commercial metal roofing structures failing well before their expected life spans.
It eventually became evident that the current model in the roofing industry was broken. A lack of mindfulness and maintenance on the part of commercial owners was costing them thousands over the life of their buildings. After all, we perform maintenance throughout commercial facilities all the time. Why is it that we simply neglect the roof until the point of absolute failure? Commercial contractors were doing little to push the envelope as re-roofing an entire facility was much more lucrative than maintaining, repairing, and restoring it.

Jake grew up on a farm and worked with his hands to learn different trades. Jake started in the construction industry when he was 16 years old. Jake moved to Florida in early 2005 and started in the Florida roofing industry six months later. Jake has vast production experience in everything from shingle, tile, metal, mod-bit, single-ply, fluid-applied, waterproofing, and stone-coated metal installations. Jake has managed many residential projects over $100k and many commercial projects over $1.5 million plus.
Jake has achieved all of GAF’s Steep and Low slope certifications, IKO steep slope certifications, Mule-Hide low slope certifications, Astec certificates, and Tropical roof product certifications. Jakes’s extensive knowledge and commitment to continued learning ensures that Orb Roofing Solutions remains at the forefront of the commercial roofing industry.
Jake enjoys working on cars, trucks, and scale R.C. trucks in his free time as well as spending time with his family and dogs.
Chris Lee is a commercial roofing expert with over 18 years of commercial roofing experience. Chris began his career as a manufacturer’s representative in 2006, eventually transitioning to open a commercial roofing outfit in early 2013
before exiting the company successfully to found ORB Roofing Solutions.
Chris has extensive knowledge of all
aspects of commercial roofing, from installation and maintenance to repair and replacement. He has worked with various materials, including metal, EPDM, TPO, PVC, restoration coatings, shake, shingles, and tile roofing, and is an
expert in exterior waterproofing and insulation. Chris is also a certified drone pilot and infrared technician.
Chris is dedicated to helping clients find the best roofing solution. Honest, forthcoming, and transparent in his approach, his passion for assisting clients in finding the best solution for their needs is the bedrock on which ORB Roofing Solutions is founded.
Christina graduated from Kent State University. For over 20 years, Christina served others as an advocate and case manager, after working with the Trauma Task Force and ultimately as an investigative agent before she transitioned into roofing.
Christina’s journey eventually led her to ORB Roofing Solutions, where she has risen to the helm of Orb Roofing Solution’s commercial roofing estimating and client accounts division. An active member of National Women in Roofing and National
Christina has earned several significant certifications in the commercial roofing field, such as Astec systems and GAF Steep and Low Slope certifications. She constantly expands her knowledge of commercial roofing systems, staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices toensure our clients receive the highest service and expertise.
She enjoys photography, swimming, and spending time with her family in her free time.
